A new Hampton Inn in Amherst has become the first hotel to receive a Universal Design certification through the University at Buffalo’s School of Architecture and Planning. The hotel features an inclusive layout designed to accommodate people of all abilities, surpassing basic ADA standards. Universal Design focuses on creating spaces that everyone, regardless of age or ability, can enjoy and navigate comfortably.
